Visa information
Ensure you are up to date on entry requirements

When planning your travel to Amsterdam, it is essential to understand the entry requirements based on your country of origin. Whether you need a visa to visit the Netherlands depends on your nationality and your travel plans.

We highly recommend that delegates requiring a visa apply as soon as possible to ensure sufficient processing time for the conference.

Check on Netherlands Worldwide to see if you require a visa or not. You can also find details on how to apply for a visa there.

Even if you do not need a visa, you must still meet certain conditions in order to visit the Netherlands.

Further assistance
If you require a visa invitation letter, you will have the opportunity to provide the necessary information during the registration process, and an automated letter will be generated for your convenience.

For further assistance please contact us at events@unpri.org.

Important notes
PRI will not be liable if you cannot attend the conference due to unmet entry requirements.

Please review our cancellation policy in our T&Cs before booking if you are unsure of receiving your visa in time.

Sustainability
Our approach to managing the social and environmental impact of the event

Our annual flagship event is run to foster positive change for the responsible investment community, both locally and globally, and this ethos is carried through to our operational approach in how we run the event. Impact on the environment, local community and supply chains are all considered, and we work proactively across our operations towards leaving a positive legacy. We aim to ‘walk the talk’ by managing the social and environmental impact of the event in a way that’s consistent with the mission of the PRI, within local context.

Sustainability at the RAI
RAI Amsterdam is committed to shaping a sustainable future by integrating environmental, social, and economic responsibility into its operations. Its strategy focuses on minimising environmental impact through energy efficiency, waste reduction, and circular practices, while promoting social inclusion and economic growth. The venue is well on its way to running on 100% renewable electricity, invests in clean mobility, and encourages sustainable catering and stand construction. Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, RAI collaborates with partners to innovate and create positive change, aiming to operate climate-neutral by 2050 and lead the events industry in sustainability. You can find full details of the RAI’s approach to sustainability here.

Environmental Impact
In 2026, working in partnership with our conference venues and suppliers, we will take various measures to support the environmental sustainability of PRI in Person, including:
  • Minimising paper usage throughout the event.
  • Opting for recyclable materials wherever possible, as well as utilising lanyards made from recycled, sustainable materials.
  • Removal of product giveaways (e.g. tote bags, pens) from our sponsorship suite.
  • As always at our events we will be working with local suppliers towards catering being sustainable and responsibly sourced, offering the most appropriate variety for our attendees, focussed on a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options.
  • The PRI has a Climate Change policy which is supported by a travel policy for PRI staff. This travel policy aims to mandate more sustainable travel options, including lower emissions associated with travel. We encourage delegates to consider the environmental impact of their travel and choose sustainable travel modes where possible.

Social Impact
Our approach to social sustainability is supported by our procurement, human rights, DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) and climate change policies, which can be found on our website here.
  • Our criteria for selecting venues and suppliers includes review of their operations in line with relevant laws and guidelines, including but not limited to human rights, environmental, and employment laws.
  • We are committed to providing a platform for an inclusive range of speakers across the PRI ecosystem, representing the global composition of our signatory base.
.
